The FIXR Program supports eligible public entities to implement certain projects that meaningfully increase energy efficiency, build on the success of other energy efficiency programs, and rapidly deploy funding to entities who need it with costs up to $100,000. The FIXR Program will cover up to $100,000 for the following eligible projects:
- Energy efficient lighting
- Weatherization upgrades
- Purchase and installation of energy efficient appliances (upgrade to Energy Star) and equipment that can be completed in the project timeframe
- HVAC upgrades that can be completed in the project timeframe
The FIXR Program’s objective is to complete energy reducing retrofits in a cost-effective manner that will yield long-term impacts for local communities.
Applications for the FIXR Program will be evaluated and awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis until program funding is exhausted. Please carefully review the Request for Applications, Application Form, and Budget Worksheet prior to submitting a FIXR application. FIXR Program project must be completed no later than May 31, 2026.
