The Emerging Energy Transition: Risks and Opportunities for Western Public Lands
The Andrus Center will host its next Environmental Conference on the Boise State University campus Tuesday, April 16th, 2024. This day-long conference will delve into how best to enable energy transitions on public lands in Idaho and across the West.
Public Lands are an important setting because the entire West is part of an interconnected grid and the abundance of wind and solar resources on Idaho’s public lands bring both challenges and opportunities for the state and the region. What can be done to foster energy affordability and reliability, drive innovation, build equitable infrastructure, and ensure that place-based solutions are to the state’s benefit? We look forward to diving into these issues together, to help to inform the rapid energy transformation underway.
Registration for the full-day in-person event is $100. Click here to Register.
